Found laying dormant in the Ness of Brodga in Scotland the original form would have been spectacular, Built approximately 3100BC this Neolithic site contains a bundle of buildings within a mound structure to defend from the elements and enemies.
Milling over media of the site we have designed, set and cast using ancient techniques, we have developed the ring around two things, the large flat courtyard and surrounding stones, this Sterling silver ring has over 30 raised notches that sit on the shoulders of the ring, this been a way to represent the abundance of surrounding protection and vastness of the site, this leads up to the head of the piece which is a flat, mirrored face which emulates the openness and depth of the ground they lived. The entire ring is beautifully polished to a mirror like finish bringing a comfortable and modern take on ancient heritage.
At triskelion we can only hope that one day someone stumbles or digs up one of our creations, it will bring mystery to the beholder.
